Humble BeginningsLecture, Trunk Show and Q&AExperience a journey from the beginning of Denise's quilting career up to the present. We will hear how an unplanned stop at a quilt shop awakened the "quilting bug" hidden in her heart that fueled many years of study and work to gain the skills recognized in her quilts today. You will see quilts from all stages of her quilting life to include many of the award winners from the past up to today. |

Classes
Denise currently teaches within a 250 miles radius of her home. A one hour lecture is $450 and a full day workshop is $600. Please refer to the contract for further information regarding the breakdown of fees.

Borders & CornerstonesDo your borders enhance your quilts or are they just a necessary finishing element? In this class you will learn to create an original border that will compliment the designs in your quilt. Using just one color fabric and one color thread the result will amaze you. Tiny VisionsGet ready for freewheeling design fun. No patterns and no measuring. You will use fusible web and free cut strips of fabric to create an original land or seascape. These will be small works of art so you can make a few as gifts. Full Day Workshop Supply List |

Painted Orchid 101Are you curious about those quilt artists that paint on their quilts? This is the class for you. The use of fabric paints, pens and colored pencil will be explored in this class. No artist needed here... you can do it. |
Color Me ExoticThree beautiful moth orchids comprise this quilt. You will decide the color and decoration of your own orchids. Set on a beautiful batik background each orchid will stand out with its original color and decoratve markings. Full Day Workshop Supply List ($25 Paint Kit fee) |

ConeflowersIn this class we explore free motion embroidery to emphasize areas in your quilts. These are the details that make a quilt stand out and it is not difficult to do. Using fusible web, thread and stabilizer we will create these wonderful flowers in your choice of colors. |
Amaizing GraceLearn how to transform a piece of yellow fabric into a realistic image of one our most beloved plants. It is easier than you would think and can also add a beautiful touch to a quilt or border. |

NestersMom and dad are waiting for their brood to arrive. With decor fabric as your background you will construct the tree, build the nest, add the goldfinches or buntings and nestle those little eggs into their home.
